Does anyone admit to having written this on the back of an envelope?

This morning Trintrin1x asked a question about one of her tags

After a quick "GOOGLE" I suggested that the answer to her question was "Friendship Remains And Never Can End" This reminded me of things we used to write on envelopes one of them being "HOLLAND" and the other one "SWALK"

Do you remember any others?

HOLLAND = hope our love lives and never dies
SWALK = sealed with a loving kiss

And who could forget "Postman, postman don't go slow - be like Elvis go man go"?

I'm really showing my age now - before long envelopes will be a thing of the past

I think that phrase covers my weekend. What phrase would you use to describe yours?

Well what do you know ~ I nearly came home with one of these

Instead of one of these

And did I really need a parrot?

I really must learn to write out my shopping list more carefully in future!

Who's been sleeping in my bath?

If you wrote your autobiography, what would its title be?

I think mine would have to be called

"Me, Myself & I"

Or

"Poetry Emotion"

Or

"Much to do About Everything"

Last night must have been the strangest dream I remember having. I woke with a start after dreaming that I was breast feeding of all things! Not just one child but two. One was an infant and the other a toddler both of whom were vying for my undivided attention

Well I thought I'd better google it and here's what I found.

To dream that you are breast feeding, symbolizes tenderness, love, nurturance, and motherly love. Good things will be at your grasp. Alternatively, the dream suggests that you need to be careful in who you confide in. To see someone nursing or dream that you are nursing, suggests that you are nurturing a hidden aspect of yourself.

Perhaps chilli con carne should be avoided after 7pm?

I know I'm as guilty as the next blogger for using a bit of poetic licence and cheap journalistic ploys but at least I do provide content for most of you to read (should you so wish).

This morning I read this blog title "i wanna change my bad habit. can you help me?" being a busy body helpful soul I thought perhaps I could have a nosey give some useful advice. So looked a bit closer only to find that the rest of the text was in a strange language. The only word I could recognise was a capitalised "MOODY" - that's so set me up for the day! Fair enough blog what you want in your own blog but why not be consistent and write the title in the same language as the content? and save me wasting valuable blogging time

I guess the bad habit was annoying nosey parkers bloggers like me.

Ah well - "blog and let blog"

Szóval, van egy szép nap - that's Hungarian for "so, have a nice day" I hope!

BOB & THE BLONDE

Bob walked into a sports bar around 9:58 pm. He sat down next to a blonde at the bar and stared up at the TV.

The 10 pm news was coming on. The news crew was covering the story of a man on the ledge of a large building preparing to jump.

The blonde looked at Bob and said, "Do you think he'll jump?"

Bob said, "You know, I bet he'll jump."

The blonde replied, "Well, I bet he won't."

Bob placed a £20 note on the bar and said, "You're on!"

Just as the blonde placed her money on the bar, the guy on the ledge did a swan dive off the building, falling to his death.

The blonde was very upset, but willingly handed her £20 to Bob, saying, "Fair's fair. Here's your money."

Bob replied, "I can't take your money. I saw this earlier on the 5 pm news, and so I knew he would jump."

The blonde replied, "I did too, but didn't think he'd do it again.."

Bob took the money...

Thunder, lightening and hailstones the size of marbles!!!! What great weather for flaming June!

I didn't want to go out today anyway!

This on top of the plague of bugs - whatever next?

I am so glad that I don't have to make a decision on the finalists as there are so many different approaches to the subject. Well done to everyone who joined in the spirit of the competition - In my book everyone's a winner.
