1. Do you have a favourite part of autumn?

My favourite part is running through the fallen leaves – childish perhaps but a lovely experience

2. "It's too cold to snow!" Do you think it ever is?

Erm……….let me think ……. Erm ……. I don’t really know!

3. Do you feel there is still a place for British Summer Time or should we just stop changing the clocks?

Leave them alone

4. Are there certain meals you only eat in certain seasons (salad in summer, stew in winter)?

Stews are lovely in winter. Salads are great all year round. Curries work well winter and summer as do fish and chips. Some foods are obviously seasonal. Hot cross buns should be eaten at Easter but crumpets must be available all year round – I remember once being told that crumpets were out of season!!!!

5. Autumn is...?

A golden time to ease us gently into the harshness of winter.
